By now, you've probably heard the story of NUMMI, the Fremont auto plant that will close for good on April 1, taking hundreds — possibly thousands — of jobs in San Joaquin County and the rest of the valley with it.
But you've never heard it detailed by This American Life, a public radio program put together under Chicago Public Radio, and one of the finest examples of journalism left in the United States.
