Nothing too sacred...

Want proof that money makes the world go 'round?

Look no further than Linden, a little hamlet a few miles east of Stockton, where bottled water is now being blessed and sold as "Holy Drinking Water."

Nothing is so sacred that it can't be turned into a cash cow.

Hopefully, this entrepreneur's dream of turning the bottled water into a nonprofit fundraiser happens. Until then, it's just another of many attempts to turn a buck by peddling faith.

How holy, indeed.

Maybe they should get together with the Turlock minister who sold the parish for a Beamer? The level of inventiveness when it comes to flock fleecing is always impressive...

Jesus said that anyone who causes a little one - those whose child-like way endears them to the Father - would be better off tying a large boulder to their rear-end and tossing themselves into the deep blue sea. I wonder if it's the same for those who shamelessly denegrate the sacred?
My life's mission is to draw folks; God help me if my actions push people away from their Creator. Horrifying thot...
